El Medano, situated on the south coast of Tenerife, is a quaint spanish village boasting three beautiful sandy beaches - Playa Pelada, Playa Sur and Playa Tejita.

In El Medano we have wind-, foil-, wingfoil- and kitesurf schools, bike hirea and many more possibilities for sport and recreation.
There are also plenty of tracks to go trekking, mountain climbing, visiting museums, enjoying local culture, for example: in February Carnaval, in March the Canarian Folk Festival, in March Semana Santa (Easter) and much more.
There are also several golf courses on the island.
